HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR RAW VIRGIN HAIR

1. Wash & Condition Regularly
Gently wash the hair with a sulfate-free or moisturizing shampoo. Focus on the scalp/weft area and allow the shampoo to cleanse the lengths without aggressively rubbing or tangling the hair. Follow with a quality moisturizing conditioner. Detangle gently with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb, starting at the ends and working your way upward.

2. Keep the Hair Moisturized
Raw hair thrives with moisture. Use a lightweight leave-in conditioner or moisturizing hair product when needed. Avoid overloading the hair with heavy oils or products, as buildup can weigh the hair down and affect its natural movement.

3. Minimize Excessive Heat
Although raw virgin hair can be heat styled, frequent high-temperature styling can shorten its lifespan. Always use a heat protectant and keep your tools at a moderate temperature whenever possible.

4. Detangle With Care
Always detangle from the ends upward. Never aggressively brush through tangled or dry hair. For wavy or curly textures, detangle while the hair is slightly damp and conditioned to help preserve the natural pattern.

5. Protect Your Hair While Sleeping
Wrap your wig or hair with a silk or satin scarf/bonnet, or sleep on a satin pillowcase. This helps reduce friction, tangling, frizz, and unnecessary shedding.

HOW TO MANAGE YOUR RAW VIRGIN HAIR

Straight Hair:
Use a paddle brush or wide-tooth comb to maintain the hair. For a sleek look, lightly apply a heat protectant before using a flat iron. Avoid repeatedly passing the iron over the same section.

Wavy Hair:
For beautiful waves, lightly mist the hair with water or a leave-in conditioner and gently scrunch the hair with your hands. Allow it to air-dry whenever possible. Avoid excessive brushing, which can disturb the natural wave pattern.

Curly Hair:
Mist with water and apply a small amount of leave-in conditioner or curl-enhancing product. Gently finger-comb or use a wide-tooth comb from the ends upward. Scrunch the curls and allow the hair to air-dry. Do not aggressively brush dry curls, as this can create unnecessary frizz and tangling.
